People and Culture Directorate (formerly Human Resources) is a multifaceted Directorate of the Division of University Services that provides a diverse range of human resource, industrial relations and support services for staff of CQUniversity.
The Directorate is divided into several organisational work units:
Facilities Management provides services at varying levels at CQU's regional campuses, that is Bundaberg, Gladstone, Mackay, Emerald and Rockhampton campuses. The Operations are at CQU Rockhampton and include sections for grounds maintenance, security, finance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, project management and space management. manages capital works projects and buildings, facilities and infrastructure maintenance and upgrading at Bundaberg, Emerald, Gladstone and Mackay
Financial Services Directorate at CQUniversity is primarily charged with the Financial Management of the University.

The Marketing Directorate at CQUniversity is primarily charged with generating interest in the University, an activity and goal which is shared by all departments.
The Corporate Strategy and Planning Directorate resides within the Financial Services Division and is responsible for managing the corporate strategic planning framework and associated reporting and review activities for CQUniversity. It is responsible for providing management information and planning support to facilitate informed decision-making, planning and policy formulation, and the overall strategic development of the University.
The Academic Registrar provides senior leadership and governance for student academic and administrative services across all campuses.
Student complaints, misconduct and plagiarism matters are managed through the Academic Registrar's Office.
The Directorate delivers a broad range of student administrative, communications, access, development, personal, and financial services through four Centres. The four Centres are the Student Business Centre, Student Contact Centre, Course Information Centre and the Student Support Centre.
Student Residences are located in Mackay and Rockhampton and provide accommodation for more than 450 students.
