Student Services staff will facilitate an interactive session based on their students' stories. The sessions will explore the richness and diversity of student life at CQUniversity. The audience is invited to share their own stories as part of exploring the wealth of wisdom and experience that underpins the CQUniversity learning environment.

The workshop will present information on the practical application of the online technologies supported by Flexible Delivery Services (FDS)
The workshop will include some hands-on / practical activities that can locally on each campus.
Location - CQUniversity Library on Bundaberg, Gladstone, Mackay and Rockhampton campuses.
Facilitators - Staff from the Flexible Delivery Service in ITD will facilitate this session on each campus

Thursday 24th February
Roy Kennedy, on behalf of DTLS and ITD (Flexible Delivery Services), will launch the implementation of iBrainz media streaming at CQUniversity. The launch will introduce staff to existing online resources for this facility. A launch of the Staff Induction online resource of streamed presentations using the iBrainz format will also occur.
Friday 25 th February
Patrick Danaher, Bobby Harreveld, Jo Luck and Fons Nouwens will launch a project for the writing and publication of an edited book about teaching and learning at CQUniversity, with the working title Doctrina Perpetua: Brokering Change, Expanding Learning, Promoting Innovation and Transforming Marinalisation at CQUniversity, Australia.
CQUniversity staff members are warmly invited to attend this session to find out more about the proposed book, suggested timelines and what will be involved in this project, which will be coordinated by the Learning, Evaluation, Innovation and Development (LEID) Centre in 2005.
Friday 25th February 3 - 4.30pm
Richard Smith will talk briefly about the DOTL program, followed by comments by the other panellists and questions and comments from the audience.
The invited Panellists represent a cross section of the university's teaching community, with various faculties, positions and campuses represented.

This event will include an address by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Rickard, and the presentation of the 2004 VC's Award for Quality Teaching
Note: The Cocktail Party is by invitation only. To receive an invitation you must register for the Showcase (using the online registration form) by Wednesday 16 th February.
A "Conversation Corner" will be set up near the presentation venue at each campus. A place to grab a cup of coffee and chat with colleagues.
