This case study gives evidence and reports on the state of success in the facilitation of lifelong learning for Cricket South Africa cricketers and employees.

George Payne is Deputy Director: Facilitation of Learning and ICT Support at University of South Africa (UNISA), Gauteng region (Pretoria, JHB, Ekurhuleni, and Florida)
The region is currently servicing 120,000 students as per a menu of learner support services, for example, registration, career counseling, library service, ICT, Academic literacy, tutorial services, digital learning, etc.
UNISA is an ODL university and is currently using a hybrid model embedded in distance education and Open Distance Learning principles due to the changing profile of students and higher education environment.
UNISA have a 2015 and a Operational Plan that gives impetus to an exciting Transformation agenda based on quality assurance and service excellence.
UNISA has a student base of 260,000 students.
George is responsible for learning support of approximately 50% of these university students (from enrolment to graduation providing a range of services).
