University Scholarship of Learning & Teaching Grants

CQUniversity is an innovative and flexible learning organisation that seeks to adopt and implement pedagogical approaches and learning technologies that maximise the effectiveness of its student learning. The University acknowledges the need to carry out research that will ensure the organisation's competitive edge.

Scholarships of Learning and Teaching (SoLT) grants are offered annually to university staff who are interested in conducting research that will directly contribute to learning, teaching and assessment enhancements at CQUniversity. A maximum of $5000 is available per grant (subject to change). Individuals and teams are encouraged to apply.

Funding is provided to assist with direct project costs (consumables, research assistants, etc) and may extend to include project related travel and teaching or marking relief subject to approval from the Head of School/Department. Funding for activities considered to be a normal part of the learning and teaching process, conference attendance or equipment will not be approved.
