Room Structure (Equipment Used)

Projectors

  • 3 NEC LT35G Data Projectors are used to create a 6 meter x 1.5 screen display.
  • The projectors are running a screen ratio of 4:3. This provides a virtual screen size of 3072 x 768 pixels.
  • The NEC Projectors are DLP projectors.

Cameras

  • 3 cameras are employed
    • 2 x Panasonic Cameras (Panasonic WVCP240 CTV Colour Cameras)
    • 1 x Sony Video Conference Cameras (Sony EVID 100 Conference Camera)
  • Microphones
  • 2 Peavey (PSM2 Boundary) microphones are are ceiling mounted to provide sound pickup throughout the whole room, whilst 2 Shure boundary microphones are placed on the desktop to provide clear and concise sound for each of the participants.    

Echo Cancellation

  • A Clearone XAP400 Echo Canceller is employed to provide the room with echo cancellation capability.

Sound

  • 3 (QF8's) speakers are ceiling mounted to provide sound dispersion throughout the Access Grid room.
  • The speakers are powered using an Australian Monitor AV2.2P amplifier.
