About the Deputy Vice Chancellor (International) & CEO C Management Services

As Chief Executive Officer of C Management Services Pty. Ltd. - a wholly owned subsidiary of CQUniversity, Professor Hawkins is responsible for the management of this company and its relationship with CQUniversity.  Professor Hawkins has recently also been appointed Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) of CQUniversity and this is in a dual role capacity with that of CEO.

About Professor Hawkins

Professor Hawkins is an approved Auditor of the AUQA Board since 2007 and a Professor of CQUniversity, he has had over 40 years previous experience in varied teaching and leadership roles in Australian and International universities ranging from Faculty Dean, Head of School and Executive Director of International Programs.  He has served as a member of various course administration and course advisory committees, Academic Boards, University Council Strategies Committees and Resources Boards.

Experienced in private - public education partnerships, he has held a number of directorships including Executive Director -C Management Services Pty. Ltd.

He remains active in scholarly activity having supervised 25 postgraduate students at the Masters and Doctoral level from 1983 to present.  He has been a recipient of a number of research grants and authored/co-authored 12 books and a number of refereed articles and related presentations.

Professor Hawkins was also a Visiting Scholar at Boston University, teaching Summer School programs for a period of 10 years.

Professor Hawkins is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management having combined professional and commercial roles in the retail industry, education and government services.  He is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
