Support for The Smith Family Learning for Life students

CQUniversity Australia has gained an international reputation as being one of this country's leading institutions in terms of its accessibility and the support it provides for students. In keeping with this position, CQUniversity has partnered with The Smith Family to help support their Learning for Life program that provides financially disadvantaged young people with assistance all the way through their education, including at key transition points.

The University is working with Rockhampton and Mackay Learning for Life staff to open up pathways to higher education for scholarship families, through information sessions and by supplying families with university program and scholarship information.

If you are a Smith Family Learning for Life student CQUniversity will help you achieve your dream career by assisting you to enrol in a CQUniversity degree program and begin your tertiary studies. CQUniversity will help by giving you:

Free career counselling - CQUniversity will provide all The Smith Family students one free career advice session with a careers counsellor from the Student Support Centre. To register for a session phone 07 4930 9456.
Assistance with entry - CQUniversity will help The Smith Family students who apply to CQUniversity by providing assistance with entry into most undergraduate programs.
A guaranteed scholarship - The Smith Family students who enrol to study at CQUniversity are guaranteed a CQUniversity Equity Merit Scholarship (valued at $2,000 for your first year of study).
A textbook voucher - CQUniversity will provide The Smith Family students who enrol to study at CQUniversity with a $250 CQUniversity textbook voucher to use in your first year of study.

CQUniversity also offers students a range of Academic Assistance services including assignment writing, mathematics and study skills.
