Commonwealth Scholarships

Centrelink will administer scholarships for low income students in receipt of Youth Allowance, Austudy and Abstudy payments. However if you received a Commonwealth Scholarship prior to 2010, CQUniversity will continue to pay your scholarship.

New Applications in 2012 for Commonwealth Scholarships for Indigenous Students

In 2012 Commonwealth Scholarships will be available to Indigenous students undertaking study at CQUniversity. The main categories of scholarships are:

Indigenous Commonwealth Educations Costs Scholarships (ICECS) valued at $2377 in 2012;
Indigenous Enabling Commonwalth Education Costs Scholarships (IECECS) valued at $2377 in 2012;
Indigenous Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarships (ICAS) valued at $4754 in 2012;
Indigenous Enabling Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarship (IECAS) valued at $4754 in 2012; and
Indigenous Access Scholarship (IAS) valued at $4485 in 2012.
