Important notes in regard to Accounting Dual Degrees.
Students who commenced in the period Term 2 2005 to Term 2 2006 (Term 2 2005, Term 3 2005, Term 1 2006 or Term 2 2006)
The Faculty introduced minor changes to the Dual Degree Accounting program from the start of Term 2 2005. To reflect these changes, the Faculty also changed the name of this program from Bachelor of Accounting/Bachelor of Business (Information Systems) to Bachelor of Accounting/Bachelor of Business from this date. Prior to Term 2 2006 students were only able to study the combined accounting and business degree with a specialisation in Information Systems. From Term 2 2006 the business specialisations able to be studied were broadened to encompass others available under the Bachelor of Business program.
The program Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Business (Accounting) also had a name change to Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Accounting to reflect the changes made to the accounting side of this dual degree.
Students who commenced under Bachelor of Accounting/Bachelor of Business (Information Systems) before Term 2 2005
During the course of 2005, the Faculty undertook to redevelop a number of its undergraduate programs to meet industry and professional body requirements.

Students who chose to complete their program of study by the end of 2006, were able to complete their studies using the degree rules in place prior to T2 2005. This arrangement was approved by the accounting professional bodies that accredit these programs.
