The Centre for Professional Health Education at CQUniversity Australia is committed to providing health professionals with professional development and continuing education opportunities.

Programs and courses can be tailored to meet the individual needs of a facility ranging from hourly in-service sessions, full day workshops and short courses. Short courses are based on current accreditation and training needs such as regular clinical updates and legal issues for nursing practice. Consultancies are tailored to individual facility requirements and include clinical audits and training needs analysis.

The Centre for Professional Health Education aims to:

Promote nursing as a profession
Advance the critical and analytical ability of nurses for practice
Develop knowledge of specialist areas
Assist nurses with career plans
Collaborate with industry to provide best quality and relevant education
Facilitate continuing education through the recognition of prior learning and advanced clinical experience

The Centre for Professional Health Education is currently not accepting any enrolments in specialty studies. We will be offering new programs in 2013!
