Mission Statement

The Centre for Plant & Water Science strives to implement CQUniversity's Mission Statement through the creation of a critical mass of expertise and infrastructure in the plant and water sciences, in order to:

  1. research issues of plant production, utilization and conservation, and related natural resource management of relevance to the sustainable development of Central Queensland and climatically similar regions;
  2. provide a range of research training opportunities at postgraduate level in plant and water sciences; and
  3. improve the quality and extent of undergraduate teaching in disciplines relevant to plant and water sciences.
