What is the selection process?

A selection panel, consisting of members of the BMC Education Initiative Advisory Group and its secretariat, will determine the successful applicants in each instance.

Applications will be shortlisted against the selection criteria.
Short-listed applicants will be interviewed by members of the BMC Education Initiative Advisory Group.
Scholarships will be offered to successful candidates and non-successful candidates notified.

The BMC Education Initiative Advisory Group

Is chaired by the BMC Asset President and also includes:

CQUniversity, Head of Campus
Regional Economic Development Corporation, CEO/Mackay Area Industry Network, CEO
Moranbah High School, Deputy Principal
BMC, Poitrel Mine, General Manager
BMC, Head of Health, Safety, Environment and Community

The decision of the advisory group is final.
