Known for its wonderfully moderate climate, Bundaberg is located midway between Rockhampton and Brisbane. It marks the southern boundary of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and of the Central Queensland region. Bundaberg is about 90 minutes drive from Fraser Island, a World Heritage-listed national park and close to many local beaches. Bundaberg's population is about 47 000 within a district of about 120,000.
At CQUniversity Bundaberg you can study a range of programs at the campus including accounting, aviation technology, business, education, financial planning, information technology, health promotion, psychology, multimedia, and nursing.
Students have access to six computer labs and wireless internet access, allowing students the ability to access the internet from any location while on campus. Computer labs can be accessed 24 hours a day, with some available only at designated timeframes.

Two research centres are located at CQUniversity Gladstone; the Centre for Environment Management (CEM) and the Process Engineering and Light Metals Centre (PELM). These centres allow for research opportunities for high degree students that are relevant and integrated into the regions strong industrial base.
Mackay is a city of 116,000 people situated on the central Queensland coast. The region enjoys a subtropical climate with easy access to unspoilt beaches, scenic rainforests and the Whitsunday Islands.
The campus offers a range of programs and houses state-of-the-art facilities including purpose built medical imaging and sonography laboratory, library and specialised theatre training centre featuring a 200-seat professionally equipped theatre with modern lighting, sound and recording equipment. The campus also hosts the Queensland Centre for Domestic and Family Violence - a resource centre researching the impact of domestic and family violence.
