Transcript

In the current environment, we cannot envisage life without technology or inefficient technological business processes.

The Master of Information Systems offers a unique blend of information technology and business analysis skills that help to drive technological, management and organisational change in an increasingly interconnected digital business environment.

The learning experience focuses on bringing together various aspects of people, processes, data and technology holistically to solve organisational problems.

We focus on developing real-world skills that are guided by the SOFIA framework that describes the competence for ICT professionals.

Many of our staff members are engaged with the industry through joint collaborative research projects, capstone projects, seminars, and industry career events, which make a significant impact.

The engagement activities provide opportunities for our students and staff to engage directly with industry, providing potential benefit to our unit/courses, and also to gain valuable experience.

The main thing that helped me in my studies was my teachers. They really support you in terms of everything. You just feel very good about your own self and then that’s how you start believing your own self and this will happen with me, so I'm really happy.

If I go back and think about myself it was completely different but now, I'm very confident about what I'm doing.

This course exposes students to practical, industry-based experience.

Our 10-week internships are a great way of developing networks and a tremendous experiential learning program. Some of our students successfully find placements with the internship provider at the completion of their program.

Information systems are here to stay as we make processes intelligent, reduce human interference and focus on efficiency. Artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), Cybersecurity are here to stay and grow.

And for all of this, we need Information Systems specialists who form a crucial link between processes, people and technology.

After completing this course, the career options are unlimited, the list is really endless.

So, if you want to learn how to develop, implement and manage information systems-based solutions for organisations, CQUniversity is your place to be.
