Alternate entry pathway 

If you don’t meet the required entry score for your course of interest, starting another CQU degree can help you meet your preferred course’s entry score. After completing a year of full-time study, you will be eligible for a Selection Rank that can be used in any new application you make. You may even be eligible to apply for credit if the units you complete are part of your preferred course. Explore the related courses for your preferred degree and call 13 27 86 for guidance.

Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS)

TAFE Certificates and Diplomas

Explore our range of TAFE certificates and diplomas that give you a Selection Rank, and could provide credit towards a bachelor's degree.

Pathways for High School Students

If you're in high school, you can get a head start on your studies by studying a TAFE course or university unit while still in school. Our Principal's Recommendation Scheme provides a pathway directly into university from high school without relying so heavily on your ATAR.
