Committed to academic achievement and lifelong learning, Tanvir, completed a Master of International Business in 2017. Originally from Bangladesh, he was the first ever international student at CQUniversity to participate in an Exchange program. He studied at Osaka Gakuin University (Japan) to learn Japanese language, culture, and history.
Whilst completing his degree, Tanvir served as a student mentor, supporting first year students, and was nominated as Mentor of the Year in 2016. He also worked as an International Student Ambassador, assisting prospective students and applicants with their study queries, sharing his own international student perspective and in the process helping hundreds of new students from a diverse range of nationalities find their suitable course and campus location.
Since graduation, Tanvir has contributed to the international education sector with over four years in Recruitment, Marketing and International Admissions roles at vocational and higher education public and private providers. Recently he was appointed as the Co-Chair of International Education Association of Australia (IEAA) Young Professionals South Australia and was featured in The PIE News for his contributions in the international education sector.
