Showcase your bricklaying skills for the 2024 WorldSkills Central Queensland Regional Competition. The Bricklaying Regional Competitions test the skills and knowledge of apprentices, trainees and students, who have the opportunity to win gold, silver and bronze medals and gain the chance to go on to compete at a national level.
To be eligible to enter a WorldSkills competition, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Be undertaking an apprenticeship or traineeship in an Australian RTO/TAFE/University
- Be undertaking studies towards a qualification at an Australian RTO/TAFE or University
- Undertaken/completed a relevant qualification at an Australian RTO/TAFE or University
There is no age criteria to enter the Regionals, however, to be eligible to proceed to the 2025 National Championships, the National Age Ruling will apply.
A competitor at the WorldSkills Australia National Championships should not be older than 24 years in the year of competition (For 2025 – Born on or after 1 Jan 2001). For more information on eligibility visit WorldSkills.
