Research misconduct

Conduct where the student has displayed wilful or deliberate behaviour that deviates from that commonly accepted in the research community for proposing, conducting, or reporting research that may impact on the reputation, viability and integrity of the University’s academic standards. Research misconduct includes but is not limited to non-compliance with any part of the University's Code of Conduct for Research, fabrication or falsification of data or findings, plagiarism in research-related matters, and use of others' intellectual property without due acknowledgment in research-related matters.
