CQUniversity MBA graduates are top tier

CQUniversity Master of Business Administration alumni Sean O'Donnell and Jasjit Kang have further cemented the University's reputation for producing some of the world's top graduates.

The CQU alumni have both secured senior appointments at Wipro Limited' a global company delivering innovation-led strategy' technology' and business consulting services.

1996 MBA (Finance & Strategy) graduate Sean O'Donnell recently joined Wipro as the General Manager - Banking and Financial Services Consulting' bringing with him over 25 years of experience from the business and banking sector.

Mr O'Donnell was recognised for his work in 2020 by being named CQUniversity Outstanding Alumnus of the Year for his work promoting innovation' transformational change' diversity and inclusion in the workplace and society' which he said he plans to continue in his new leadership role.

"I have continually sought to build teams and develop businesses at the leading edge. I hope to bring this to Wipro'" Mr O'Donnell said.

"I believe success in the future lies in disruptive innovation. This means building the capacity of employees' simplifying business models' and most importantly' creating an ethical culture for stakeholders."

The career of fellow Wipro leader and 1992 MBA graduate' Jasjit Kang is on a similar upward trajectory after expanding his role to Digital Operations & Platforms (DOP) of Wipro's iCORE (Integrated Cloud Infrastructure' Digital Operations' Risk and Enterprise Cyber Security Services) business.

Mr Kang also won CQUniversity's Outstanding Alumnus Award in 2016 for pushing to create a common agenda for corporate social responsibility across software and services companies.

His wealth of experience in operations management' order to cash service delivery' technology-based innovation' business development and relationship management helped him to develop Wipro's digital capability.

Since its inception' CQU's highly functional MBA has helped graduates to reach their potential as successful' transformational leaders within domestic or international business spheres.

CQUniversity recently maintained its 2022 CEO Magazine's Global MBA Rankings Tier One worldwide ranking for the sixth year in a row and jumped two places in the rankings to enter a top 40 position.
