This research will contribute to EMDR clinician’s capacity building by helping therapists gain a better understanding of how to work with their clients with complex trauma. Additionally, it aims to help enhance and inform future EMDR Therapy theory and practical applications. This study aims to advance EMDR therapists’ knowledge of working with programmed trauma perspectives and in particular illogical fear.
