This will be a qualitative or mixed methods study, which explores the various forms of non-financial value that crowdfunders (so-called backers) can provide to the fund-seekers they support with financial capital.

This project is associated with the International Engaged Research Scholarship, which offers a 20% reduction in tuition fees for eligible international students.
