NCWQ Bursaries are awarded to the successful Queensland female student applicants for one of the range of bursaries on offer each year. NCWQ Bursary Recipients demonstrate qualities of leadership; community service; perseverance; and determination, often despite life’s obstacles, to follow their personal and professional passions.

To apply for the National Council of Women of Queensland Bursaries:

  1. Review the Available Bursaries on the NCWQ website to determine which Bursary you would like to apply for. Please note: You may apply for more than one bursary if you meet the relevant criteria.
  2. Determine your eligibility. Click on the selected Bursary to review the criteria, then follow the link to complete your eligibility test.
  3. Have your Selection Criteria information ready. Gather all your supporting information and documentation.
  4. Complete the Online Application. All applications are to be submitted online by Monday 3 of June 2024, however if this is not possible, please contact NCWQ directly.
