Kirsty Harper

My name is Kirsty Harper and I am a CQUniCares Student Success Scholarship recipient. I have now graduated with a Bachelor of Psychological Science and most recently completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours).

Living on my family’s farm 40 minutes outside of Geraldton, Western Australia and studying full-time, most of my spare time was spent looking after the farm and my elderly grandfather.

My dream is to become a registered psychologist where I hope to work with children, adolescents and their families who suffer with any form of disability. It’s a field close to my heart, as I have seen first-hand the challenges my family members have faced and the lack of support for people with disabilities.

My scholarship has helped to buy textbooks, pay internet bills and help clear the debt I have obtained travelling to Queensland to attend a residential school.

Without donors like you, people like myself would not be able to attend university to gain the qualifications needed to achieve our goals. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
