Our Commitment

At CQUniversity, we are committed to ensuring our digital platforms and content are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA to provide an inclusive and user-friendly experience for everyone.

To this end we are proud to be a Member of the Centre for Accessibility Australia, and to continue working towards achieving an accessible experience for all.

Accessibility Features

Our website incorporates a range of accessibility features, including:

  • Keyboard navigation – Our site is designed to be fully navigable using a keyboard.
  • Alternative text – Images include descriptive alt text to assist users who rely on screen readers.
  • High contrast – Text and background colours are selected to ensure readability.
  • Captions and transcripts – Videos include captions or transcripts where possible to support users who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Form accessibility – Labels and instructions are provided for all form fields to enhance usability.
