Overview
By studying the Graduate Diploma in Project Management, you will undertake coursework that explores project management principles based on recognised international standards, guidelines and frameworks. Examples of different project domains are explored through relevant and practical case studies.
Each case study will enable you to explore the application of project management closely aligned to your chosen career path. The units develop technical skills in the initiation, bidding, tendering, planning, design, procurement, execution, reporting, commissioning, handover, and post-project support of projects. Human skills in stakeholder management, communication, team building, negotiation, and the support of ongoing professional career development are integrated into the coursework material and assessments.
You will develop skills to further your project management career and pursue other disciplines such as business, engineering, health, and information communications technology (ICT).

You will study seven units, including the first six listed below. You will then choose one elective from the following:
- Research Proposal (PPMP20015)
- Effective Business Communications (BUSN20017).
If you are intending to continue your studies with the Master of Project Management, we recommend choosing Research Proposal (PPMP20015) as it is a core unit in the master's course.

The CV81 Graduate Diploma of Project Management course is internationally accredited by the Project Management Institute Global Accreditation Centre for Project Management Education Programs (GAC).
Students and graduates are entitled to benefits and resources from the PMI.

Course Fees
This is an approximate cost of enrolling in this course, shown in Australian dollars (A$), for one academic year and is based on a full-time study load (8 units over 2 terms).
Your actual fees may vary, depending on the units that you select to study and your study load. Fees are reviewed each year and are subject to change.
A scholarship can help with the costs involved with living on campus, laptops and technology, childcare, study and living expenses, travel, and more.
You may be eligible for up to 25% international scholarship funded by the University.
We also offer other scholarships to support international students and encourage you to apply for the one that's right for you.
In addition to your international course tuition fees, you must have sufficient funds to cover other study and living expenses.
This will include costs such as textbooks, accommodation, visa applications, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), general living, etc.
