Overview
The Study Abroad (CQUGlobal Inbound Program) allows you to undertake vocational, undergraduate or postgraduate units at CQUniversity from any available discipline area and receive credit towards your home award (if applicable); it is aimed at students currently enrolled in a vocational qualification or a bachelor or master degree level course overseas, or those with some previous study at these levels with an interest in an international study experience. You can choose units or subjects and combine them to design a personalised course that meets your academic and personal goals. Alternatively, you can utilise elective subjects in your home course to study an area outside of your major that interests you. You can choose internal (face-to-face) units from any CQU study areas subject to availability at your desired campus and recognising that some units have prerequisites that you would need to meet before enrolling in this course. The Study Abroad (CQUGlobal Inbound Program) is available for students to enrol in one and two terms of study.

I would recommend that everyone participate in an exchange program. The quality and effort put into the units by everyone at CQU is outstanding. It might initially seem intimidating but it will become one of the greatest experiences.

I chose CQUniversity because I wanted an adventurous and memorable experience for my study abroad. I wanted to visit Australia and experience the great outdoors, while attending a very good university where I can earn credits to transfer towards my degree.

I liked experiencing the various lessons and enjoyed bowling, cave adventures and more, which helped me make new friends. My favourite place is Yeppoon, I had never seen the beautiful ocean and beach – that was awesome.

I really enjoyed the Rockhampton campus, it's a nice area for study and I had the most amazing time at the student health clinic where I did my placement for ten weeks.

I most enjoyed getting to meet new people and explore a new place. I enjoyed having the ability to get to see Australia while gaining credits for my program at home. I am studying psychology and I most like learning about people and how the mind works.

The international classes are pretty good I learned a lot about international concepts and how business works. The assessments have been intense and I learned a lot. I really liked that they are connected with real international topics and linked with the countries around Australia.

I experienced different methods of teaching and met people from different cultures. I found Australian people are very welcoming. There aren't that many cultural differences, but I did notice that Aussies have a more "chilled out" lifestyle than us Europeans, which I like a lot.

I chose to study with CQUniversity because they had so many units I could choose from for my Environmental Studies major. I made so many wonderful, lifelong friends so I am very thankful I decided to study abroad at CQUniversity Rockhampton.

Other cultures and viewpoints help to be more impartial and get to the bottom of our own perspectives. Living at the residential school helped me make friends and we regularly took excursions. I only have positive memories and I absolutely recommend an exchange term at CQU.
