Overview

The Study Abroad (CQUGlobal Inbound Program) allows you to undertake undergraduate or postgraduate units at CQUniversity and receive credit towards your home award, if applicable. It is designed for students currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree overseas, as well as those who have previously studied at these levels and are interested in an international study experience.

The four-unit, discipline-specific study program is designed to meet your academic and personal goals. You can use elective subjects in your home course to explore units outside your major that interest you. You will study face-to-face in your chosen CQUniversity study area, subject to availability at your chosen campus. Some units have prerequisites that you must meet before enrolling. The Study Abroad experience is available for one term of study.

CQUniversity Australia has a national network of campuses, each offering unique study and lifestyle experiences. You can enrol in the Study Abroad program the following campuses, subject to unit availability:

  • Brisbane
  • Rockhampton
  • Mackay (music and theatre units only).

Rockhampton, in Central Queensland, is the university’s main campus and offers on-site accommodation and the broadest range of units. Please note that unit availability varies by location. For more information, visit our Campus Locations page.

I would recommend that everyone participate in an exchange program. The quality and effort put into the units by everyone at CQU is outstanding. It might initially seem intimidating but it will become one of the greatest experiences.
