Anna Hubbard

I enrolled in CQU after completing Year 12. The structure and units in CQU's Early Childhood course sounded interesting and the idea of online learning appealed to me.

Seeking employment during COVID was extremely difficult, as was relocating for work, but I am currently transitioning from working as an admin officer trained as an early childhood teacher, to now being a high school teacher. All the positions I’ve had require commitment, organisation, patience, and understanding your stakeholders. I enjoy my work because I am fully invested in what I do.

My degree has profoundly broadened both my professional opportunities, and the perspectives I adopt when I approach my work and daily life. It has nurtured my love of learning and the cycle of education, and opened my eyes to the diverse worldviews of others.
