Shannon Lloyd

Over the course of a career that has spanned decades, my journey into the field of project management has been one of passion through exploration. I have seized the opportunities that were presented, having contributed to significant portfolios, programs and projects like the Aurizon & Urban Utilities portfolios, Australian Pacific Liquid Natural Gas (APLNG) & Cross River Rail (CRR) projects, and the CS Energy Overhauls and Inland Rail programs where prestigious awards were achieved, including Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) Queensland and National Project Management Office (PMO) of the Year 2021/22 – Inland Rail PMO). 

My extensive experience needed underpinning and studying at CQU aided in complimenting my technical skill. My thought leadership and practical expertise across P3M and continuous improvement, has led me back to CQU where I am influencing the next generation of practitioners as a seasonal lecturer, through the delivery of the Master of Project Management curriculum which is based on industry standard content (PMI PMBoK, Axelos, Prince2 etc.) and reinforced through the sharing of real-world learnings from various ventures around the globe.
