The transition to a casual engineer at the Department of Transport and Main Roads marked a significant pivot towards my core interests in civil engineering, with each project enriching my understanding of public infrastructure and its impact on society. This role was the bridge to my ultimate goal, culminating in a permanent position as a Project Engineer. My Masters in Management for Engineers has been instrumental in my career, providing a robust foundation in both technical and management skills. This degree enhanced my abilities in project management, enabling me to efficiently handle budgets, programming, and the procurement of materials for construction and maintenance projects. It taught me to apply strategic planning and continuous improvement techniques, significantly improving project delivery within budget and time constraints. The expertise gained has been crucial in ensuring project compliance and success, solidifying my role in the field and contributing to my professional advancement.
