Judi has a strong commitment to developing leadership potential in the education sector, and a focus on leadership influence in her role as Director of The Place Neuroleadership Academy. In her role as principal at North Rockhampton High School, her efforts resulted in significantly better outcomes for students. Her commitment to best practice and innovation dramatically improved the school's performance across key measurement areas.

As well as a strong commitment to her own continuous learning, she has been instrumental in convening cross-sector leadership programs at a national level. Judi established 'The Place' which stands for 'The Place of Leadership/learning And Collegial Excellence/empathy.

Judi was awarded the 2014 Industry Contribution Alumni Award. She is a CQUni PhD candidate, and her research is in the psychology and neuroscience of leadership influence.
