Below are some options you can use to move data that is not going to be automatically migrated to the new interface.
1. Search and Journal Alerts
Option 1: Change your Search Alerts to a Saved Search in your My Folder - the Saved Search will then migrate to the new interface in early January 2025. You will then be able to re-create a Search Alert in the new interface.
Please refer to EBSCO's Creating saved searches from a search alert video.
Option 2: Recreate the search alert in the new interface (and then delete from classic interface to avoid duplicate email alerts).
Please refer to EBSCO's Creating search alerts on the new EBSCO user interfaces video.
Â
2. My Custom folder data
Articles and eBooks
Option 1: Move saved items from your custom folders to My Folder - these will then automatically sync with the new user interface now:
- Go to the custom folder you want to move
- Select all the articles (or ebooks), and
- Move to the My Folder option.
Option 2:Â Save, email or export the saved items for future reference (e.g. download as RIS/EndNote file or CSV).
Please refer to EBSCO's Save or export items from custom folders video.
Â
3. Saved searches
Move saved searches from your custom folder to My Folder - these will automatically move to the new interface in early January 2025. It is recommended you include the name of the custom folder in your saved search so you can identify it in the new platform.
Please refer to EBSCO's Moving saved searches from custom folders to MyFolder video.
