CQUniversity graduates earning more and securing jobs quicker
CQUniversity graduates are earning some of the highest salaries and securing jobs faster post-graduation, according to the 2023 Graduate Outcomes Survey (GOS).
The University’s undergraduate cohort has placed number two in Australia for median full-time salary, with graduates earning an average of $78,300 – more than $7000 above the Australian average of $71,000.
CQUniversity undergraduate alumni are also some of the most employable, placing fifth in Australia and second in Queensland for full-time employment at 86.2 per cent (Australian average 79.4 per cent).
CQUniversity Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Nick Klomp said the results highlighted the impact that CQUniversity had on graduate’s job-readiness.
“CQUniversity has long been a leader in graduate outcomes and the latest GOS results are a testament to not only our graduates, but to our exceptional teaching staff who equip our students with the essential skills to become some of the best employees in the country,” Professor Klomp said.
According to the GOS results, CQUniversity postgraduates are also highly sought-after by employers, placing number one in Queensland and three in Australia for median salary at $109,900 (Australian average $97,000) and number eight nationally (second in Queensland) for full-time employment at 92.6 per cent (Australian average 90 per cent).
