Herb garden creates a new taste for campus
CQUniversity's Certificate I and II in Horticulture students have been busy giving CQUniversity's Rockhampton City Campus a bit of a makeover by installing a herb and decorative garden outside the Willby's training kitchen.
The horticulture students were keen to show off their finished product this week to hospitality teacher Adrian Newby and officially handed over the reins of the garden to the hospitality students and staff.
Horticulture teacher Kay Pearson said she was proud of the student's achievements with the garden and hoped the hospitality students would find the garden of much benefit to their training.
The Rockhampton City Campus project is just one of many projects underway by the students who are gaining real-world experience throughout their course.
