Lleyton accelerates his automotive mechanical aspirations with CQUni training

Lleyton Meyer is eager to put the pedal to the metal on his future career as automotive mechanics and CQUniversity's VET training is lighting his way.

Lleyton is currently undertaking his training at the CQUni Rockhampton City campus' and although he's only a few weeks in' he can already see how far it might take him.

Lleyton' 17' is five weeks into Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology course.

'I want to be a diesel fitter working on diggers'' Lleyton said.

'I like going four-wheel-driving and I've got a Holden Rodeo that I work on every other day.

'My ideal job would be to get an apprenticeship working on big trucks.'

Lleyton said so far' he has enjoyed learning the basics about the different types of vehicle engines and was keen to learn more over the 20-week course.
