Thesis Name

Pursuing the Levers that Activate Community Change; an Action Research Approach

Thesis Abstract

The research aim of this project is to explore the enablers of community change in regional communities. While Central Queensland will be the case study focus of this thesis, I will draw on interviews, the literature and secondary data from other regions to strengthen the evidence base.

Why My Research is Important/Impacts

In the context of this community, action research is not being applied to prove or disprove a theory. It is being applied to learn and improve practice on the ground. The researcher will seek to create a theoretical framework for the work, or perhaps reveal and describe the theoretical framework within which the work is taking place.
