Thesis Abstract
This is an important and valuable topic because illiteracy is a major factor that hinders development in most developing countries. Hence, South Sudan is an ideal case study of NGOs development programmes. But unfortunately, it has never been stable politically, and a proper Primary Education System has not been in place (Malik, 2015). As such, the impacts of NGOs activities in Primary School Education in South Sudan will help humanitarian service providers plan their education programmes in post-conflict situations.
Why my research is important/Impacts
The research will outline factors that promote or hinder the success of NGOs activities in a post-conflict situation in South Sudan. This will help both the NGOs and the government of South Sudan build mutual relationships to achieve the goal of eradicating illiteracy through Primary Schools. As NGOs have become active partners in development programmes worldwide (Malik, 2015), this research will pave the way to understanding an effective approach, especially in a post-conflict situation.
