Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, all international students studying on-campus in Australia or online outside Australia. You are eligible if you’re graduating from an undergraduate level course with a 2022 conferral date (the date on your graduation certificate) or later. You will be asked to provide a declaration stating that you don’t yet have a full-time or part-time job in your discipline after you have submitted an application..
If you are still in Australia following your original studies, you’ll also have to check your individual visa circumstances to ensure that participating in the Graduate Guarantee course does not affect your visa conditions or eligibility to remain in Australia. You should contact the Department of Home Affairs for any clarification about your visa conditions and confirm.
You will need to apply for the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Entrepreneurship through the international application system, iStart.
To be eligible for free entry to the course, once you've submitted an application, International Admissions will request for a declaration via email that you have been unable to find either full-time or part-time job in your field of study within six months of your graduation date.
Yes, you are still eligible. Our Graduate Guarantee is available to international students studying physically on a CQUniversity campus as well as those studying online and offshore outside Australia – as long as you can prove that you are not able to secure employment in your field of study within six months of your graduation date.

International student visa holders are expected to have sufficient funds to cover additional expenses such as textbooks, accommodation costs, Overseas Student Health Cover and general costs of living.
There is no other financial support apart from the free course, which essentially is a saving of approximately A$7,180. We believe this aspect of financial support not only supports your continued learning and gives you an edge, but also helps reduce some pressure in your pursuit of finding your dream job.
