VET and Research Students

VET Students

After you are enrolled by the Course Management Team, you will be required to check in to your course and prepare for your studies by following the below steps: 

1. After you have arrived in Australia, register for a Unique Student Identifier (USI). 
2. Complete check-in by filling out the Online Check-in Form.
3. Complete any outstanding tasks in your MyCQU 'Today' view
4. Attend on-campus and speak with Student Engagement to receive your ID card and access card.

Research students

Research students are enrolled by staff within the Research Division each term. You must contact the Research Division once you have arrived in Australia. They will advise you of your next steps including how to request an ID card, your office location and your fees. The Student Engagement Team is also happy to assist with any questions you may have about living and studying in Australia.
