Important Scholarship Application Information
Funding Pools
HEPPP-Funded Scholarships target students studying an undergraduate degree and identified as living in regional and remote Australia, low socio-economic status (SES) backgrounds, and/or Indigenous persons.
Dare to be Deadly Scholarships target students who identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person and are able to provide Confirmation of Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander Identity or Cultural Reference documents and are enrolled in one of the following courses:
- STEPSÂ
- Bachelor
- Bachelor HonoursÂ
- Associate Degree
- Advanced Diploma (Higher Education)
- Diploma (Higher Education)
- Postgraduate (Coursework)
Donor-Funded Scholarships target specific students based on the individual Donor Scholarship eligibility criteria which vary from term to term.

How to Apply
To apply for a Term 1, 2025 Scholarship, complete a Scholarship Online Application Form, ensuring all supporting documentation is completed and attached as outlined here:
- For Current students (applicants who already have a Student ID number) apply through MyCQU. You will need to log in with your student details. Navigate to Support on the left panel, select Student Forms and search Scholarships and Financial Assistance. Alternatively, please use the following links: HEPPP-Funded, Dare to be Deadly Scholarships and Donor-Funded.
- For Future students (applicants who have applied or are intending to apply to study at CQUniversity but not yet received or accepted an offer) HEPPP-Funded, Dare to be Deadly Scholarships and Donor-Funded.
Applications will close at 10am on Monday, 13th January 2025 with limited scholarships available dependent on funding availability. I encourage you to monitor your student email and the Scholarships website for a full list of scholarships and year round bursaries available.
