Verification of Our Qualifications

CQUniversity uses the My eQuals platform which enables our graduates (including TAFE) to access digital versions of transcripts and testamurs and share them with employers, education providers or other parties.

A recent review conducted by the University highlighted an opportunity to enhance our privacy measures for protecting student information by utilising this platform. Consequently, we ask that you refer to the applicable section and provide your client with the instructions for accessing their credentials. For further information about My eQuals, please visit the MyeQuals website.

How to Access Documents

Digital records of transcripts and testamurs are automatically loaded into the My eQuals platform for graduates conferred from 01 January 2017 onwards. The graduate can control their My eQuals credentials and who they share them with.

We ask that you simply request your client to send you a secure link through which you can view and verify their credentials. Graduates can also download a cryptographically signed PDF copy of the document and upload it during your application process or attach to an email to you.

Our graduates will need to request their free digital transcript, please provide the links below to your client:

Further Education Information

When you require information about a past students’ education with CQUni, such as placement dates, granted credits or study load, we ask that you apply for the information via our Administrative Access Scheme.

What is the Administrative Access Scheme?

The Administrative Access Scheme allows people to be given access to information through a streamlined process.  It is an easier and quicker process than the formal Right to Information or Information Privacy application process.  Where possible, the University will release information under the Administrative Access Scheme.

Who can apply?

Anyone can apply for information, however, there is no guarantee that access will be given.  In most cases, the Administrative Access Scheme is used for applicants who require access to their own personal information.

There is no ability to seek a review of an access decision made under this Scheme, however, applicants that are dissatisfied with such decisions may make a complaint through the University's complaints process.

Fees and charges

There is no application fee associated with making a request, however, the University reserves the right to impose fees to reproduce or provide access to the information.

Information which may be accessed and released

The following types of information can be released under the Scheme:

  • transcripts and testamurs
  • feedback on assessments and examinations
  • copies of cases and notes placed in CRM
  • financial records relating to student fees and debts
  • records that have been previously provided to the University by the student/employee

In some cases, the University may blank out some information before providing it.  This is done to protect people's privacy or to protect confidential information.
